Coach Welcomes Geoff Matherson and 16 Sales Associates

Coach Realtors is pleased to announce that Geoff Matherson and the 16 real estate sales associates from his firm (formerly known as Coldwell Banker Matherson) have joined Coach Realtors, strengthening Coach’s visibility within the south shore market place of Long Island, New York.

"Geoff Matherson and his wife Vi, have been well-respected members of the Long Island real estate community for over 40 years,” stated Mr. Lawrence P. Finn, owner of Coach Realtors in making the announcement. "We believe that this merger benefits Coach by allowing us to work with an incredibly dedicated team of highly professional real estate associates who have a strong commitment to, and knowledge of, the area. We in return will provide Geoff and Vi and their team more of the tools and resources required to meet client expectations in this very competitive and increasingly changing real estate market."

As part of the transaction, the 17 licensed real estate salespersons of the company formerly known as Coldwell Banker Matherson will become part of Coach Realtors and continue to work from their current office location at. 463 Montauk Highway, West Islip, New York.  Geoff Matherson and his wife Vi, will join Coach Realtors as vice presidents. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

“My wife Vi and I look forward to a great new opportunity to grow our real estate practice within the markets we have served over the last four decades and see great opportunities for our excellent sales team to expand professionally and enjoy the many benefits that Coach Realtors has to offer” stated Geoff Matherson. “Also, gaining our clients’ access to Christie’s International Real Estate, Coach’s real estate affiliation, puts us head and shoulders above our competition in the markets we serve.  This was the best move for us, our clients and customers, by far.”
